Leadership
Vaughan Rutherford, Managing Director and Network Security Architect
Vaughan designs, delivers and operates enterprise network security, primarily on Palo Alto Networks NGFW, Panorama and Prisma Access. He has been directly involved in around 600 complex NGFW deployments and hundreds of migrations from legacy firewall platforms, in environments of up to 100,000+ users that run 24/7. He specialises in dynamic routing (BGP), IPSec VPN and Zero Trust architecture, and is the technical lead and final escalation point for the CNSS engineering team.
Tyron Fourie, Director and Chief Technology Officer
Tyron is CNSS’s security lead, and designs, deploys and operates network security for enterprise clients across mining, retail and manufacturing. His work spans Palo Alto Networks NGFW, Prisma Access, Cortex XDR and XSIAM, alongside F5, Aruba and identity platforms. He holds the Palo Alto Networks Certified Next-Generation Firewall Engineer, Network Security Professional, Security Service Edge Engineer and Security Operations Professional certifications.
